Beta Systems Software AG and Proginet Corporation entered into an agreement whereby Proginet has transferred all product rights to their SecurPass, SecurAccess, and SecurForce security products, as well as all associated customer, maintenance, and service contracts to Beta Systems.

Beta Systems, in turn, has handed over global product rights to their Harbor NSM and Harbor HFT file transfer products to Proginet. In addition, Beta Systems is to become the exclusive distributor for Proginet’s complete file transfer portfolio in Europe.

The SecurPass and SecurForce product lines offer comprehensive password synchronization and self-service management features that help companies manage their security processes in a highly efficient manner. Another component of the suite, SecurAccess, facilitates host-based Web authentication and user rights assignment. This strategic product exchange expands Beta Systems’ Identity Management business practice by complementing the SAM Jupiter product suite.
