Document Management Suite - Optional Components

Optional Components of the Document Management Suite

Archive
Beta 93 – Archive, an integrated function of Beta 93 base system, through its archive pool concept, offers the possibility to respectively secure and store lists and reports with different requirements, in a single or multiple manner, according to different retention periods, and those which are separated according to customers or separated for further storage on different media.

An advantage of this concept is that all lists and reports stored in an archive file have the same archive retention period. Therefore, no reorganization of the archive files is necessary. All corresponding resources for each list and report are stored page-wise. The data stored in such a manner allow a page-by-page search of the archive files as well.

Extended Input
Beta 93 - Extended Input allows you to send every document, irrespective of the platform on which it has been created (e.g. UNIX or Windows), to the z/OS server via TCP/IP. All documents can be integrated into the z/OS-based document distribution and archiving system Beta 93. The unrivaled capacity, performance and integrity of the z/OS platform thus become available to the entire organization for secure keeping of critical corporate documents and efficient distribution to all corners of the enterprise.
