Press Release
-
Utilization of host applications from application server environments
- Central access to all applications of the data center thanks to modern Web services
Berlin, 18 November 2008 – Now companies can link their data center software
applications with the world of business processes. The new Beta Agilizer 4DataProcessing (A4DP)
makes it possible to flexibly integrate data center functions into workflows. This allows companies
to easily and quickly optimize their business processes based on advanced information,
administration and automation functions of data centers. Using modern Java technology, implemented
host applications are provided at any workstation equipped with a browser.
Comprehensive Information
Information can now be gathered and provided from various data sources via parallel
queries. Previously isolated legacy applications can be integrated into modern process solutions
and are available for use over the Web. Thus, companies gain a consistent and platform-independent
overview of all relevant business data.
Web-Based, Decentralized Administration
Central data center applications are administered and used over the Web, i.e., the
existing infrastructure software becomes available to the specialist department users. This way
order processes for creating or rendering specific DC services can be automated and maintained in a
decentralized manner with next to no effort.
SOA-Compliant Process Automation
SOA platforms form the basis for integrating DC applications into business
processes. Using this approach, A4DP provides the technology necessary for linking and flexibly
integrating a broad range of applications via Web services. Application scenarios include, for
instance, individualized provision of reports that are custom-tailored to the corresponding
recipient.
Harald Podzuweit, General Manager of the Data Center Infrastructure and Identity Management
Business Lines: “With the Beta Agilizer 4DataProcessing we’ve developed a solution for providing
host applications in application server environments. This offers companies a platform-independent
tool for professional management of heterogeneous IT landscapes in the data center.”
