Berlin, Germany. 18 June 2007 – Beta Systems Software AG (Prime Standard: BSS), a provider of high-quality software products and solutions for the secure and efficient processing of large volumes of data, held its international Beta Systems Customer Conference in Berlin on 14 and 15 June 2007. Almost 300 people from several different countries responded to Beta Systems' invitation and participated in this successful event. As in previous years, the 2007 Customer Conference focused on enabling users to share their ideas and experience.
Prestigious customers and partners including Bayer Schering Pharma AG, Consuvation GmbH, Credit-Suisse, CS Consulting AG, FIS GmbH, GFS, HypoVereinsbank, IBM Germany GmbH, Komercijalna Banka A.D., Linde AG, SOFTPRO GmbH, Sparkassen Informatik, Tyco Electronics and UC4 presented the projects they developed and implemented with Beta Systems. They also spoke of the business and technical benefits they have gained from their Beta Systems solutions.

The focus is on business process orientation using integrated solutions that provide our customers with an agile and flexible IT environment.”
A short survey among the conference participants confirmed that this strategy is the right one. Among those surveyed, 56 per cent cited business process orientation as the key demand they place on their IT. By integrating their various business solutions, 46 per cent of users expect to be able to streamline their business processes, and 30 per cent say that their IT systems will enable them to react more flexibly to new business requirements.
