Berlin, Germany. 21 December 2006 –Beta Systems Software AG (Prime Standard: BSS), provider of software products and solutions for securely and efficiently processing large volumes of data, announced today that Truffle has ranked it in sixth place among the most innovative German software companies included in the listing. The criterion for the decision was the level of revenues derived from software in 2005.
The venture capital company Truffle Venture, together with Syntec Informatique, the French industry association for software and IT service companies, announced the results last week of the “ Truffle 100 Europe”, a ranking of the 100 most innovative European software companies. The ranking takes into account the dynamism of the providers as well as their innovative strength. Alongside twelve other German companies, Beta Systems is classified in Truffle’s top 100. With its revenues derived from its software business, Beta Systems is in sixth place among the German companies in the listing. In the overall ranking it comes in at 37th place, showing that Truffle puts it within the 50 most innovative European software providers.
