Kamyar Niroumand

CEO of Beta Systems Software AG

As of April 1, 2006 Kamyar Niroumand has been appointed as CEO of Beta Systems Software AG.

Kamyar NiroumandPrior to that, as a member of the Executive Committee of Deutsche Telekom subsidiary T-Systems, Mr. Niroumand has been responsible for the key accounts in the enterprise services business of T-Systems since 2005, working in the role of Chief Sales & Service Officer. As Managing Director of T-Systems International GmbH, he is also responsible for directing business activities in growth regions. With a proven track record in the sector, Mr. Niroumand has established a number of outstanding contacts with many multinational corporations and major public-sector institutions, as well as being able to draw on exceptional management and industry expertise in international IT solutions business.

Having completed his studies in management engineering, Kamyar Niroumand embarked on his professional career in 1986 by joining Siemens-Nixdorf Computer AG, where he was responsible for key account sales in Berlin and the eastern region of Germany. In 1991, he joined debis Systemhaus (dSH) as Head of Sales for Computing Services (Berlin and Eastern Region of Germany). In 1995, he was appointed as a member of the executive team at dSH sfi GmbH (system house for information processing), where his tasks included Sales and Desktop Services.

From 1997 to 2001, Mr. Niroumand was Managing Director at dSH sfi GmbH, focusing on Desktop and Computing Services. From 1998 onward, he also assumed responsibility for the Eastern European region, and from 2000 to 2001 he additionally held the position of Managing Director at debis Systemhaus Solution for Healthcare. Following the inception of T-Systems at the beginning of 2001, Mr. Niroumand was appointed as chairman of the executive committee of T-Systems CSM GmbH. Until the end of 2004, he was also responsible for managing Computing & Desktop Services.

Kamyar Niroumand (born in 1960) lives in Berlin, is married and has two children.
